ROLLER SPORTS

SATURDAY, MAY 27th @ 1:00pm

We'll be meeting at Princess Point to go ROLLERBLADING. If you have a pair of blades or can borrow a pair, bring them along. But if you're too cool for rollerblades, bring your bike, a unicycle, a scooter, a wagon, a big tire to roll in...anything with wheels!

Don't forget to bring along something to drink too, and maybe a hat/sunscreen.

See you there,

30 HOUR FAMINE ($)

For all those who took part in this year's 30 HOUR FAMINE, i just wanted to say THANK YOU. Why? Well...because of your help in getting donations for WORLD VISION, our youth group raised:

$762.50

That's amazing!!! And since you will likely never be personally thanked by the people you helped through taking part in this event, I wanted to thanks on their behalf...THANK YOU! Though we had a lot of fun hanging out during the famine, the money that we raised went towards actually making a difference in the world by SAVING PEOPLES LIVES. Keep on keeping on.

fast-lane frog contest

The second of many contests on this website, this month a FAST-LANE FROG will be given away to the first person who correctly answers the following riddle (by posting the answer and your name in the comment section below):

If there's a frog, dead in the centre of a lilypad which is right in the middle of the pond, which side would it jump to?

funny...

...but, i wouldn't suggest this as your answer on a test in math class!

Are Your Normal?

Here's something interesting...at the end of this message, you are going to be asked a question. Answer it immediately. Don't stop and think about it. Just say the first thing that pops into your head. Give it a try, then comment below with your answer to see how many people you know fall into the same percentage as you (either 98% or 2%). Just follow the instructions as quickly as possible. Do not go to the next calculation before you have finishedthe previous one. You do not need to write or remember the answers - just do the calculations in your mind. You'll may be surprised.

Let's begin...

How much is:

15 + 6

3 + 56

89 + 2

12 + 53

75 + 26

25 + 52

63 + 32

I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's nearly over...one more!

123 + 5

NOW...THINK ABOUT A COLOUR AND A TOOL.

Leave a comment, and compare your answers!
