Evangelism Linebacker...what's your excuse?

Let's face it...all of us have excuses for why we don't share our faith with our friends (as much as we ought to)...but maybe we have something to learn from the EVANGELISM LINEBACKER:

THIS SATURDAY...

This week, don't forget to be collecting money from friends, relatives, and strangers for this Saturday's AIDS walk. We'll be meeting at the church @ 1:00PM to hear from a WORLD VISION REPRESENTATIVE, and then going on a 10 KM hike along the Hamilton Harbour Waterfront Trail (where we went rollerblading this summer). The event should wrap up around 4:00PM, unless it takes a little longer for people to complete the walk.

Don't forget to bring along the $ you collected, some comfortable shoes to walk in, warm clothes, and a water bottle. Also, if it's raining, bring an umbrella/rain gear, cause it's a rain-or-shine event.

HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY DANIEL (Oct. 22nd)

THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY

YES...we're having a sleepover, and then going on a sweet double decker bus adventure! SO, you can come along on Friday night to the worship service at Mission Baptist (starting at 7:00PM), and enjoy the refreshments following the service (around 9:00PM). After that, we'll be chillin' in the church house. Bring (appropriate) video games, sleeping bags, pillows, and whatever else you need on a sleepover. Then, the next day, I'm hooking y'all up with the ride of your lives! Well...it's gonna be fun. SO, bring TWELVE (12) DOLLARS ($) for the bus tour, and you might want to bring some cash for lunch (if you're planning to stick around during the morning).

INTERESTING FACT: If you didn't know, any Friday the 13th (like today), people with motorcycles from all over Ontario (and beyond) flock to Port Dover...so if you ever notice more bikes on the road than usual, that's why.

As we discussed this past weekend, we're going to be moving rooms in the church house...SO, this Friday we'll be painting/sorting through the old youth room, and starting to adapt the other room for our purposes.

Bring old clothes for painting, and sorry...Ty Pennington won't be able to make it this time.
